| My dog Jake
is dear to me,
a bonnier lad
you'll never see,
his silky black hair
and muzzle grey,
he brings me joy
everyday.
With his laughing eyes
so honest and kind
a more faithfull friend
you'll never find.
He cheers me up
when I feel sad,
he's the bestest friend
I've ever had.
So here's to you
my baby boy
and many more years
filled with joy.

this is lovely, a great poem about your dog.
it's nice writing about pet's.
when they do funny things, you think, poem straight away.
